-
- you can use the guitar several ways, so first try putting one at the start of a
- track.
- click on it, and there are some windows available, edit, and play. Go to edit.
- click on the edit button.
-
- then load, and load the preset file.
-
- click on the auto chord button, and make sure you do not have the tabulature
- button set.
- Now play some notes into that track, and you should hear guitar chords out.
-
- Now you have in the edit window, at the top, 6 strings e a d g b e.
-
- click on one with the left mouse button and drag up or down, you can retune
- your guitar that way to non-standard tunings.
-
- Ok, reset it to e a d g b e
-
- then click on the lowest e.
-
- You will see a small box someplace on the string, indicating what note in the c
- c# d d# e f f# g g# a a# b menu which is just below the e a d g b e menus.
-
- Now you can click erase, and then click on one of these notes in the lower menu
- to select your melody note.
-
- click on the box so it turns red, to make sure you can play that note.
-
- Now if you want your chord to beneath that note, then build a chord on the
- other strings by just moving the mouse cursor to the pipoint in the string you
- want and click.

-
- You have a menu at the bottom of the play window, that you can click on and
- slide to another set of chords if present.
- So what this lets you do, is create melody chords in one bank, rock in another,
- octaves in another, and then use insert to load all of these seperate banks
- into one.
- then use save all to save it.
-
- Now another way to use it, is to click on a track, so that it expands, and then
- put the guitar tool on the tracks tool palette.
- then click on the tool, and click on the box that lets you draw a box around a
- chord.
-
- Then go draw a box around a chord, and it will change to one according to your
- guitar tool.
-
- There is an edit tool menu, that can let you reset the tool to other type
- chords.
- NOw there is also strum directions and other sliders that I think you will
- figure out.
- Put offset to zero to start playing at changing chords, otherwise with small
- chord rythems, you might get overlaps.
- You can use the rythem menu on the track to set what rythem value the chord
- will use.
